1// Topo Designs Kluttersack. I have purchased this bag and I couldn't be more pleased. I use my Topo Bag as my schoolbag. Topo bags are handcrafted in the U.S.A and this bag is the only bag to fit all my school clutter. This bag comfortably fits all my heavy Chemistry books, Camera Gear, and still has a little room to spare for my lunchbox.

2// Rosebud Minted Rose chap-stick is an obsession. Going from Bio 400 to lunch with the girls in one simple step.

Alley Walk: What she Wore

Denverites as you know if you don't like the weather just give it ten minutes when in the mile high city. Lately we have been experiancing warm days and cool nights and mornings which is quite nice but most of the time I end up looking like the bag lady with ten different layers ( I am always so cold). This year I am going to wear whatever I like whenever I like and just wear an awesome coat on top. There is something that is just awesome about wearing patterned tights, cute oxfords, and crop tops and not having to worry about freezing because you top off your cool duds with a cute comfy coat. With cold fronts vastly approaching I am holding on to warm fall days as long as they will last.

Fall is in the Air// First outfit post!!!

Fall has arrived! Pumpkin goodies as far as I can see, patterned tights, and trees changing colors. Tis the time indeed! With Fall's arrival also comes our yearly Jefferson Park photo-shoot more pictures to be posted soon. In the meantime I am thrilled to share with you my very first outfit post! Fall is the last hurrah (before bone chilling winter arrives) to wear beautifully tights, cute dresses, light jackets, and stylish hats. I truly enjoyed styling a multi-patterened look ( horse print dress and polka dot tights) for you guys to enjoy. I will posting outfit posts bi monthly! On couture beginnings and excitement for YSL.

In preparation for Yves Saint Laurent (YSL Retrospective D.A.M) currently at Denver Art Museum, I have been brushing up on the history of fashion and couture. How did fashion experience a paradigm shift from your local 1900's seamstress to the modern day fashion moguls and dynasties?
The topic is fascinating to me... Through my reading I have discovered the shift hasn't been as big as I originally thought. Paris, New York, and London are still fashion capitals and department stores still send buyers to fashion shows to purchase items and to gather inspiration on this season's hippest designs. Paris still is the critically acclaimed fashion capital producing some of the foremost designers and biggest names in haute couture. Including Chanel, Chloe, Dior, Givenchy, Hermes, Vuiton, and Yves Saint Laurent.
Primarily because I cannot contain my excitement  for the Pret a Porter line, I have gathered some of my favorite designs through time.
